Vintage Dough Bowls Blue, Large Size

(1 customer review)

Vintage Dough Bowl, wood has been dyed blue. Love how the wood grain comes through to show a beautiful finish. It has a great shape & size, you will have no problems finding a place for this gem! Color is outstanding!

History Tidbit:
Dough Bowls can be dated several hundred years back & were used for making breads. The bowls were passed down from mother to daughter or husband to his new bride. The dough was kneaded in the bowel then covered with a cloth and left to rise. Wooden bowls were used most because the wood held its heat generated by the fermentation of the yeast.
Dimensions: – 19.5″ Length x 8″ Width

I always wanted a Vintage Dough Bowl. So happy I purchased this one. The blue is beautiful with the natural wood showing through… a great purchase!
