1930’s, France. Beautiful Tall Chateau Style Candle Holder, came from a estate sale in the South of France. I met a lovely woman who was not wanting to part with some of her grand-mere pieces. She had wonderful childhood memories of playing marbles in-between grand-mere’s candle holders. I was very lucky to procure several charming pieces from her estate.
Gorgeous carved detail, color is an aged white with accents of grey. The size and chunky shape is so versatile to use as a floor candle holder or elevate to a mantle, coffee table, dining room sideboard, anywhere! In excellent condition with pleasing chippy detail that only comes through decades of time. Chateau came from a home of love & laughter….and marbles nicks at the bottom!
