History Tidbit:
Dough Bowls can be dated several hundred years back & were used for making breads. The bowls were passed down from mother to daughter or husband to his new bride. The dough was kneaded in the bowel then covered with a cloth and left to rise. Wooden bowls were used most because the wood held its heat generated by the fermentation of the yeast.
